Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Orlando
If you would like to go on an African safari but you don’t have the funds to get to Africa, visit the Animal Kingdom Lodge instead. This is a 33-acre paradise. There are over 100 species to see, which includes giraffes, antelopes and gazelles. Every room has a balcony so you can watch the animals from your room. Don’t be surprised if a giraffe comes by to see if you have any snacks. Every room features handcrafted furniture. There are only 2 restaurants at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, but they’re both high quality. Both restaurants offer a thatched roof, which adds to the atmosphere. There’s also a good chance your food will be cooked in a wood stove. The Animal Kingdom Lodge is home to a giant-size Nigerian ceremonial mask, over 4,000 handcrafted items as well as unique clothes, art and woodcarvings.
